About these terms
These terms cover your use of Plönum. By using the app you accept them. If you disagree, please don't use the app.
What Plönum is
Plönum is an app for small groups — families, book clubs and regular meetups. It keeps track of recipes, a weekly menu, tasks, the book of the month, ratings and RSVPs. We keep developing it, and features may change.
Your account
You must be 13 or older to create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for giving accurate information. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
Your content
What you add — recipes, ratings, notes, pictures — stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it and show it to the others in your group. We use it for nothing else.
You are responsible for having the right to share what you add. Don't upload content you don't hold the rights to.
Acceptable use
Don't use Plönum to harass people, break the law, distribute illegal material or attempt to compromise the system. We may close accounts that do.
Pricing and subscriptions
Plönum is free while in beta. Some features will be paid later, and we will tell you before that happens.
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store and Apple handles payment. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You cancel in your App Store settings, not with us — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Beta release
The app is under development. There may be bugs, features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do our best but cannot promise uninterrupted service.
Backups
We back up data, but we recommend you don't rely on Plönum as the only place you keep something you cannot afford to lose.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may close an account that breaches these terms, with notice unless the breach is serious.
Liability
Plönum is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the app — a forgotten meetup or lost data, for example. This does not limit your rights under mandatory consumer law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when that last happened, and we will say so in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the app counts as acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Icelandic law, and disputes fall under the District Court of Reykjavík.
